ReplyDeleteYou know, since Vignesh has a penchant for all things electronics, you could definitely do some interesting fine motor exercises with him.
Using hand over hand, you could hold his pointer finger to help him push buttons or use a computer keyboard.
This would get Vignesh used to using his pointer finger as well as stimulate and appease his curiosity for electronics!
Gabe now puts DVD's into and out of the DVD player. He also uses the computer mouse and he is able to go into the browser to pull down YouTube. Recently, he began using one hand for mouse control which really surprised us. For a long time, he used both hands simultaneously on the mouse.
Sumithra, I just didn't think this far ahead. I never thought about Gabriel being "able" to use a computer...and here we are.
If Vignesh is interested in something, I say "run with it." :)
